Who doesn't love a good cup of Joe in the mornings? I don't know them if they exist. Probably my most favorite morning tradition is my coffee. I can promise you I've tried just about every creamer imaginable, of the crap food and real food variety. Sure, there are some good ones, but it's the sugar and additives that get me.
Here is my go-to per cup recipe.
Easy Creamed Coffee
Prep time: 3 minutes
8-10 oz brewed hot coffee
1/2-1 tbsp (7-14g) grass fed butter
1 tsp (7g) raw honey
1/2 tsp vanilla extract1 pinch of salt (or 2 pinches)
2 tbsp (12g) collagen powder (optional)
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for about 30 seconds. Enjoy!
The trick here.. a blender! Stirring doesn't work, don't even attempt. Some people can get by with a milk frother, but I prefer an immersion blender because it's a lot more powerful. Plus it's quick with less clean up than a bulky blender. Another trick, if you're going to use an immersion blender, pour all ingredients into a quart Mason jar to start. Then pour into your coffee cup after you're done blending, or be super southern and drink it straight from the jar.
Legit difference! Don't skimp on the blending or you'll want to send me hate mail about your oily coffee.
