Do you drink pop? Cola, coke, soda, diet anything fizzy! It's freaking so hard to quit. I am a recovering Diet Dr Pepper junkie. I used to even drink legit Mountain Dew. Any other recovering soda drinkers? Or someone that seriously wants to quit?
Most people can agree.. it's bad for us, right? Sugar, aspartame, caramel color... there really is nothing good-for-us about cola/soda/pop. It's a negative nutrient "food" product.
BUT here is a down and dirty detail you may not know about your fizzy beverage!
Phosphoric Acid - yep, an ingredient in that drink - completely ceases digestion. What does that mean? It means that whatever is in your stomach will stop digesting!
Do you suffer from bloating, gas, heartburn, diarrhea, constipation, IBS, any other digestive issues, or have skin rashes, acne, or get sick often? This is a sign of digestive distress or leaky gut - from not digesting your food! If you're also drinking soda.. or know someone who is and they suffer from these issues - please take note! The soda is literally an instrumental piece in all of these symptoms.
Take away: Drinking soda is literally making your body ill.
