What is Ganoderma?

Ganoderma, a word you may be hearing for the first time, is something I have personally grown to love and respect for many reasons.
Also known as Reishi or Lingzhi, Ganoderma has been deemed the "king of herbs" and for good reason. For those who are not familiar, Ganoderma is a powerful kidney shaped mushroom widely used as an immune modulator. For thousands of years, it's been prized by ancient cultures for it's ability to support and grow cells of the immune system.
Ganoderma can help restore hormonal balance, bring the body back to homeostasis and regulate activity of the immune system, including fighting tumors and cancerous cells. Research shows that Ganoderma acts like a normalizing substance, regulating various cellular functions and systems, including the endocrine, immune, cardiovascular, central nervous and digestive systems.
Ganoderma is an adaptogen, giving the body what it needs. Each person may experience different marked effects based on what their body needs. It's the perfect "bio-individual" herb.
Ganoderma is capable of offering protection against numerous diseases or illnesses based on the body's current need, including:
✓Inflammation
✓Adrenal dysfunction (stress, fatigue)
✓Digestive dysfunction & protection (liver, gallbladder)
✓Hormone imbalances
✓Autoimmune disorders
✓Anxiety and depression
✓Heart disease (including atherosclerosis, high blood pressure & cholesterol)
✓Antiviral/Antibacterial
✓Sleep disorders and insomnia
✓Frequent infections (kidney, urinary tract)
✓Asthma
✓Skin conditions
✓Fibromyalgia
✓Rheumatoid Arthritis and joint pain
✓Eating disorders
✓Cancer fighting/prevention
✓PCOS
✓Diabetes Type I & II
Ganoderma can be consumed in powder form (actual mushroom and the spores), by capsule, loose powders, or in beverages/products. Since Ganoderma is a naturally occurring herb, and is only effective in it's whole form it can not be patented and sold as a pharmaceutical, instead as a supplement. Ensure you do your research and that you are taking only the highest quality of ganoderma with lab results indicating a high beta-glucan count. Beta-glucans are largely the medicinal part of the mushroom. My current go-to company for all top quality, organic mushrooms is RealMushrooms.com. More on that company in the future, stay tuned!
